Класс: 8 Тема урока: «Where can you work?» Цель: совершенствование коммуникативной компетенции посредством изученной лексики, грамматики на уроках английского языка. Задачи: Образовательная: учить осуществлять выбор языковых и речевых средств для выражения собственного мнения, сравнения и анализа различных мнений; научить планировать своё коммуникативное поведение в зависимости от предложенной ситуации общения. Воспитательная: воспитывать культуру школьных отношений; воспитывать культуру учебного труда. Развивающая: развивать навыки коммуникативной интуиции; развивать аналитическое мышление, развивать образное мышление. Речевой материал: лексика по теме «Профессии – твой выбор». Межпредметные связи: самопознание. Материальное обеспечение урока: - для учителя: доска, учебник, печатные приложения. -для учащихся: учебник, рабочая тетрадь, раздаточный материал. Ход работы: I. Организационный момент: T: Good morning, everybody! Sit down, please. Who is on duty today? Who isn’t here? What date is it today? What day is it today? P: Good morning, teacher. Nikita is on duty today. Everybody’s here. Today is “The 2nd of April”. Today is Wednesday. T: Thank you! ! I'm glad to see you. II. Речевая разминка: T: How did you spend your holidays? Where did you spend it? What impressions did you have after your spring holidays? Were you glad to go back to school? I think everybody like the holidays. How do you usually spend summer holidays? Maybe anybody work at the holidays? III. Основная часть: (Режим работы T = P1, P2… P) T: Today we’ll speak about professions; about choosing a profession. Please, everybody sit comfortably. Close your eyes. Breathe in. Breathe out. Let’s pretend you are a businessman or a businesslady. You are sitting in a comfortable armchair. The weather is fine. You have no troubles. No serious problems. You are quiet. Your brain relaxes. There is calm in your body. You love everybody. You are sure of yourself, you have much energy. You are in good spirits. Open your eyes. How do you feel? P1,2 – I’m fine. I feel nice. T: Now you are in the age when you have to think about your future professions. What kind of job do you like to have? What your friends and family think about your choice? What kind of job you least like to have? IV. Лексическая часть: – Let’s remind the professions and also characteristics of professions. Job Areas - Сферы трудовой деятельности: agriculture - сельское хозяйство, coal mining - угольная промышленность, sport - спорт, law - юриспруденция, medicine - медицина, business - бизнес/ предпринимательство, information technology - информационные технологии, the media - средства массовой информации, shipbuilding - кораблестроение. Professions - Профессии: politician - политический деятель, sculptor - скульптор, doctor - врач, vet - ветеринар, teacher - учитель, nurse - медицинская сестра/няня, professional footballer - профессиональный футболист, scientist - ученый, lawyer - юрист/адвокат, journalist - журналист, computer programmer - программист. Skills - Умения, навыки: communication skills - коммуникативные навыки, computer skills - навыки работы на компьютере, driving - навыки вождения, language skills - практическое владение (иностранным) языком, organizational ability - организационные способности, typing - навыки машинописи. Qualities - Качества: сooperation - сотрудничество, сreativity - творчество, cultural awareness - социо-культурная компетенция, flexibility - гибкость, initiative - инициатива, motivation - мотивация, tolerance - терпимость, responsibility - ответственность. – Now open your books ex. 1 p. 189, and do all together – To consolidate these words do ex 2 p 189 in your exercise-books. – Let’s check it. T: Answer the questions, please: – Do you agree that choosing a profession is very important for you? – Tell, please, what factors do influence the decision of young people in choosing a profession? – What’s important to you-earning lots of money or having a job you enjoy? – How do you think what professions are the most prestigious nowadays? – Tell, please, about material aspect of the future profession.
