| Современный урок по английскому языку на тему: «Объединённое Королевство Великобритании и Северной Ирландии» Цели: • Знакомство с новым страноведческим материалом; • Формирование лексико-грамматических навыков; • Отработка употребления в речи географических названий с определённым артиклем. Задачи урока Образовательные – познакомить с новым страноведческим материалом, формировать лексические навыки, использовать приобретённые на уроке знания. Воспитательные: – воспитать уважение, понимание и толерантность к другой культуре. Развивающие: познавательный интерес, память. Оборудование Интерактивная доска, карта Великобритании, компьютеры Программное обеспечение тестер Оснащение урока: • Презентации Power Point, • интерактивная доска, • карта Соединённого Королевства • tester. План урока I. 1. Greeting: TEACHER: Good afternoon, our dear guests and my children. PUPILS: Good afternoon. 2. Introduction of the lesson: • Look at the blackboard and tell me please what can you see in the pictures? (Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square etc.) слайд 1 • How do you think what is the theme of our lesson today? • Yes, you are right. Today we are going to speak about Great Britain.слайд 2 • The aims of our lesson are: we should talk about GB; learn the use of definite article with geographical names слайд 3 II. Warm up: этап актуализации знаний • What comes to your mind when you hear The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Presentation of the theme: The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland cлайд 5-10 It is the official name of the state . The UK is situated on the British Isles. There are four countries in the United Kingdom: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. England, Scotland, Wales are three main parts of Great Britain. London is the capital of GB but also the capital of England. Cardiff is the capital of Wales. Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland. Belfast is the capital of Northern Ireland. Its main cities are London, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow. Its closest continental neighbors are France and Belgium. Recently the channel Tunnel, which links France and England, has been built. Great Britain is washed by seas all around. The western coast of Great Britain is washed by the Atlantic Ocean. The eastern coast is washed by the North Sea. The Irish Sea is between Ireland and Great Britain. The southern coast is washed by the English Channel or La Manche. The chief rivers of Great Britain are: the Severn, the Thames, the Clyde, the Tweed. London stands on the Thames. IV.
