Form: 5 Date: 06.12.2016 Theme of the lesson: What's this? The aim of the lesson: - Educational the students will be able to use the words n the theme “School Subjects”, ask and answer the question “what’s this?”, revise the words on the theme “Colours” - Developmental - to develop pupils’ speaking skills, writing and listening skills by working with dialogue, analyzing and doing exercises. - Pedagogical - to increase students interest to English The type of the lesson: new lessons. Methods of the lesson: illustrative, practical, oral, work with the book. Materials: cards, books, interactive board The procedure of the lesson I. Introduction. Greet the students. (2 min) - Hello, dear boys and girls. I`m very glad to see you again. Sit down please. Today we see, listen, speak, do and all will be OK! All together! (Девизом нашего урока будет: вижу (прикасаюсь к глазам), слышу (прикасаюсь к ушам), говорю (прикоснуться к губам), делаю (стукнуть кулачёк о кулачёк), получится (большой палей вверх)! И вместе!) (slide 1) II. Speaking drill. (5 min) Your good mood is just what we need during the lesson. Tell me. How are you today? - How old are you? - Where are you from? - Where are you from in Kazakhstan? - Can you speak English? - Can you swim? - Can you ride a bike? - What is your mother like? - What do you like to eat? - What do you eat for breakfast? - What don’t you like? Practice the words. (3 min) 1. Guess the riddles 1.Грамоты не знаю, а весь век пишу. (Ручка) 2. Если ты его отточишь, Нарисуешь все, что хочешь! Солнце, море, горы, пляж. Что же это?.. (Карандаш) 3. Сидят за ней ученики Лежат на ней учебники, Тетради, ручки, карта- Не просто стол, а (парта) 6. Ты беседуй чаще с ней, Станешь вчетверо умней (Книга) 7. Листы у неё белые-белые, Они не падают с веток. На них я ошибки делаю Среди полосок и клеток. (Тетрадь) 8. Новый дом несу в руке, Дверца дома на замке. Тут жильцы бумажные, Все ужасно важные. (Портфель) 3. Make a chain. (5 min) Let’s play a game. Find the English equivalent to the Russian one. Desk/ линейка, ruler/ ручка, pen/ книга, book/ карандаш, pencil/ стул, chair/ тетрадь, notebook/ компьютер, computer/ портфель, bag/ резинка, rubber/ парта 4. Working with the flashcards. (5 min) Teacher shows a card and ask the question “What is it?” “It’s a pen” …. “Is it a pen?” Yes, it is. No, it isn’t. Playing a guessing game. The students take any flashcard but doesn’t show the others. The rest of the pupils should guess asking the questions “Is it a …?” 5. Watching a video “Gogo’s adventures with English” “Have you got a ruler?” (8 min) a) the students watch the video b) answer the question “Have you got a …?” c) make up and act the dialogue 6. Revision of the colours. Ask the colours according to the flashcards. Find the colour on your clothes. (3 min) 7. Assessment task. (5 min) There is a worksheet where the students should colour the objects according to the teachers instructions. The students do the mutual assessment. Descriptors: “5” – 2 mistakes “4” – 3 – 4 mistakes “3” – 5-6 misakes 1-Blue book 8 – white bag 2-Green bag 9 – brown rubber 3-Orange pen 10 – pink pencil 4-Red rubber 5-Black ruler 6-Yellow pen 7-violet desk V. Conclusion of the lesson. H/t (learn the words, make a crossword) Tell me, please what should be in your schoolbags when you go to school. Right you are. You were active today.
