| Мероприятие по английскому языку во 2 классе "Quiz time" Aim: motivate pupils to learn forein language Lesson:game-competition I. Organization moment Greeting T- Hello everyone! Today you will have competition "Time for quiz" II.The main part Tasks # 1. 1.Collect the names of your team with the letters which are given to you . 3 teams First team:Tiger Second team:Tortoise Third team:Elephant Teacher divides the board into three parts to write the points for each correct answer.Then counts and gives prizes. Task #2. Rebus S answers: (1.vegetables,2.brain,3.muscles,4.hair) Task #3. Riddles Now guess the riddles. 1.I have a face,but no legs.I can go. (watch) 2.Brad's father has 5 sons- Tim,Tom,Terry,Tonny. What is the fifth son's name?( Brad ) 3.I am in your bag,on your desk You can read me ( a book) 4.I am fair I am dark I am on the top of your head (hair) 5.I am red I am round I am a vegetable (tomato) 6.I live in Africa I am black and white (zebra) 7.I am on your face I help you to smile and speak ( mouth) Physical activity singing a song The wheels on the bus go round and round.... Pupils sing a song and move. Task #4 .Spelling bee One child from each team comes to the board and spells the word. Spell the words correctly. Teeth Eyes Mouth Pasta bread skin eyes hair Task #5 .Tongue -twisters battle This is a task for the captains of the teams a)Pat has a big backpack b)Double bubble gum bubbles double c)She sells the sea shells by the sea shore d)Peter the ping-pong player plays ping-pong in the park e)Pretty Polly has a purple parrot. f)Red lorry,yellow lorry III.Conclusion Teacher sums up and gives awards. | |
