Игра "Пирамида"

| Pyramid Time: 45minutes Level: pre-intermediate Participants: 12 students Procedure: 1. Students are divided into 6 groups (2 in each). They choose a card with a word or definition on it and match the words with their definitions. e. g. country -A part of the world where a particular nation of people live 2.The first team chooses a block of the pyramid. One student sits with his/her back to the screen, the other faces the computer. He/she sees a word and explains it to his partner using definitions, synonyms, antonyms, gestures, sounds to make the meaning clear. 3.Each student explains 3 words (there are 6 words in a block). Three minutes are given. 4.Three pairs take part in the next game. Three blocks contain word combinations. The procedure is the same as in the first game. 5.Two teams pass to the final game. Each block has 5 words for each member. The students have to odd one out and explain it to the partner. 6.The last task is for the best pair. A student sees a scrambled word, guesses it and explains it to the partner.
