Theme: “The Environment” Aims: -Учебный аспект: систематизация, обобщение и закрепление пройденного материала по теме, формирование обобщённых знаний по теме и оперирование ими. -Развивающий аспект: развитие личностной активности учащихся, развитие способности к анализу, обобщению и формулированию собственных выводов. -Воспитательный аспект: учить учащихся бережно относиться к окружающей среде, воспитывать активную жизненную позицию, формировать потребности и способности к сотрудничеству и взаимопомощи при работе в группе. Оборудование: итнтерактивная доска, презентация по теме, аудио запись. Content. I. Organizational moment. - Good-morning, boy and girls. I am glad to see you. Today we will have unusual lesson we have guests on our lesson. But I hope you will be very active. - Now I want you to relax and get good mood for whole lesson. II. Warming- up activity. - Now, I will read the text and you should not do anything you should only listen to me and imagine: Teacher reads the text: Close your eyes, you are in a boat in the middle of the water. Look around; it may be pond, a lake, a river, a sea, an ocean. The water is calm. You are moving slowly. You are felling calm, your body is calm. Now you are coming back. When you hear five - open your eyes. -I hope you will have good mood for whole lesson. Body of the lesson. III. Introduction of the theme of the lesson. - Today we will speak about Environment. Look at the first slide, here you can see the theme of our lesson: “the Environment”, “Learn to protect” - And next I want you to remember words connected with environment. You will work in groups and you should give names for your groups. (Учащиеся придумывают названия командам.) IV. Work in groups, making of exercises. - Your first task is “Translate the following words.” (Each group will get one word and you should translate into in English, you should do it very quickly one group by one). 1 task “Say in English” Окружающая среда- Environment Защищать- To protect Загрязнять- To pollute Кислотный дождь- Acid rain Глобальное потепление- Global warming Загрязнение- Pollution Перерабатывать- To recycle Мусор- Rubbish, litter Подвергаться опасности- Endanger Отходы- Waste - Ok, I like it very much. Now it is time for next task. 2 task “Discussion” - You will have questions and you should discuss it into your groups and then we will have discussion between to groups. Questions for discussion. 1. What important environmental problems do you know? 2. Where does air pollution in the cities come from? 3. Where does water pollution come from? 4. What kind of litter can be recycled and how? (Учащиеся обсуждают вопросы в группах, а потом вопросы обсуждаются группами). - Good, your job was perfect and now you will have text and make the task. 3 task “Listen to the text and put in the words!” I think people 1should leave their cars at home more often. Of course everyone 2 can not give up their cars. But I want to say that people should use 3 public transport_ if they can. Of course a lot of people prefer to drive. But I want to say that cars are a big 4_environmental_ problem. Of course public transport often more 5_expensive_ in America. But it would be better if we thought how much does the 6 _transport__ cost for 7 planet, not just for our self. - And answer the question: what is the problem? (pollution from cars) and what is the way of solution? (use our cars less). - Now you will have opportunity to make your own ways of solution for some problems. For this you should look at the picture and answer the question. 4 task “Look at the picture and answer the question” What environmental problems do the animals see? (air pollution and water pollution) - Ok, first group will speak about air pollution and second group will speak about air pollution. 5 task “Problems and their solutions” - You should decide: What are the reasons of air and water pollutions, how we can solve them? (Учащиеся в группах составляют свой план решения данных проблем.) - And it is high time for our last task. 6 task “Rules for our behavior” - You should make rules of behavior in nature. (Учащиеся составляют правила поведения человека в природе). - You rules are very good, but I want suggest you one rule more: Rulers of our behavior in the nature : We must live in a clean world. We must live in harmony with Nature. We must save our Planet. V. Giving of the home task. - Write down you home task : What do you think you should do to protect the environment? (make a poster calling to protect the environment). It may be done in small groups or in pairs. VI. Evaluation. I like your job. Thank you for the lesson. Your marks are: . See you next lesson.
