To practice vocabulary and grammar. 2. To give practice in four language skills: speaking, reading, listening and writing. 3. To develop tenacious memory, analytical thinking, interest to learning English language. Materials: interactive board, work-sheets, workcards. Vocabulary: poaching, landfill sites, deforestation, recyclable, medicine, nature reserves, disposable, biodiversity, endangered. Grammar: Present Simple Tense, Present Continuous Tense. Introduction Good morning, students! Glad to see you. How are you? Sit down, please! Get ready for the lesson. The topic of our lesson is “Back to nature”. Today we shall develop our reading skills. Warm up Look at the interactive board and match the words with the correct picture. poaching landfill sites deforestation recyclable medicine nature reserves disposable biodiversity endangered. Presentation Pre-reading Look at the board. What issues are represented in the pictures and how important are they for the future? (See the attached files, pictures (1)) Practice While-reading I. Look at your work-cards. Read the three texts quickly. 1. What do you think is the purpose of each text? 2. Suggest an appropriate title for each text. Pair work Compare your answers with your partner. II. Read the texts again and decide which answer (A, B, C or D) best fits each gap.
