The theme: High flyers:Lessons at home. Class :7 A Aims: to learn the information about home school system . Еducational: To develop new lexical material, revision of the grammar material: There is/there are Developing: To develop memory, logical thinking and developing creative work with new technologies, to provide an opportunity of free speaking. Вringing up: To involve the pupils into the subject, to teach pupils to work creatively. Objectives: to perceive the information by sight and by listening; to acquire a command of the spoken language; to develop analyzing ability. The type of the lesson: new lesson. The method of the lesson: question-answer. Visual aids: active board, computers , posters, markers, pictures. Lesson procedure: I. Organization moment: 1. Hello, Dear our teachers, boys and girls! You are welcome to our open lesson by the theme: High flyers. The aim of our open lesson is to learn information about home school system. I hope you’ll find something interesting and new for yourselves. Let’s start, please. Good Luck! Teacher: In our country Kazakh is the official languages as your English, but it is not only languages spoken in it. Our president N.A.Nazarbayev said: “Every person in our country must know three languages: Kazakh as a state language, Russian as a language of international communication and English as a widespread language in the world, as a language of business and new technology”. And our pupils know these languages well and now they show us their knowledge. Checking up the home task: Please, let me check your home task. To write a composition by using there is and there are to the given pictures. Now listen to the song for these given pictures. THERE IS A CASTLE • There is a castle on a cloud, • I like to go there in my sleep. • Aren’t any floors for me to sweep, • Not in my castle on a cloud . • There is a room that’s full of toys, • There are 100 boys and girls. • Nobody shouts or talks too loud, • Not in my castle on a cloud. • There is a lady all in white, • Holds me and sings a lullaby. • She is nice to see and she is soft to touch, • She says ‘Cosette I love you very much’. • I know a place where no one’s lost, • I know a place where no one cries, • Crying at all is not allowed, • Not in my castle on a cloud. II. Warming up. I will ask pupils: How far do you live from school? How long does it take you to get to school? ( How many minutes or hours?).So, today we are going to read about students in Australia who live very far from school. III. Actualization: New words enormous, on their own, post, once, twice, borrow, take place . I will translate and explain them. Look through the text quickly and find the answers to these questions 1 How many people live in Australia? 2 How many students use Schools of the Air? 3 How often do teachers visit their students? Now watch a video about School of the Air in Australia. Ex 3 p 32 Match the highlighted words in the text with the definitions below. 1 on their own 2 enormous 3 borrow 4 take place 5 twice 6 post 7 once Ex 4 p32 Choose the best answers. 1 b 2 b 3 a 4 b 5 b 6 b Ex 5 p33 Complete the sentences with the words from the box. Check the meanings of any new words. 1 library 2 canteen 3 playing field 4 classroom 5 staff room 6 gym 7 corridor 8 computer room 9 hall 10 stairs. Listen,repeat and check your answers. IV. Speaking.Work in pairs. 1 The advantages of having lessons at home. 2 The disadvantages of having lessons at home. V.Teacher: - Thank you all of you. Now fill in the chart .
