| Non- standard lesson plan Class: 5”V” Equipment: blackboard, pictures, hand outs Theme: Trip to Great Britain Educational aim: To teach students to work in groups Objectives: To develop students’ memory To revise previous material To encourage students to speak about Great Britain Development Organization moment. Greeting: Good morning my dear students today we have lesson – game “Trip to Great Britain”. On the previous lesson we studied this topic and today we will check up our knowledge. Now we divided into two groups. Each group should give name to the team and choose the Leader. I give you 2 minutes for it. Team 1 is …… The Leader is ……… Team 2 is …… The Leader is ……… Are the teams ready? We begin our Trip to Great Britain. Practice with studied material: Task 1: Answer my questions (full answer) Team 1: What is the full official name of the UK? Team 2: How many countries does the UK consist of? Task 2: Look at the blackboard on the picture, Leader goes to the blackboard, other members of the team can help you, you should say 1. Which countries are these flags? 2. What are the capitals of these countries? 3. How do you call people from these countries? 4. What languages are spoken in these countries? 5. What is the symbol of country? Your score: ……… Task 3: Look at the blackboard, you see lettering you should make up words from these letters. Your score: ……… Task 4: Now we will play Bingo. Now you discuss and decide who from your team goes to the blackboard, other will help him. Look at the pictures, you should answer the questions and then go ahead. Hurry up, who will be first! Your score: ………… Task 5: I give to each team hand outs. It is puzzle. Your task is to find the words. I give your 10 minutes to discuss and to do the task with your team and then will check up together. Your time is up. Now team’s Leader goes to the blackboard, don’t forget to take your pen and we will check up your finding words together. Your score: ………. Marks and comments: Now our game is over.
