Today we are going to read and give the description of mount Everest. What kind of landscape do you prefer? As for me, I like the picture with a mountain range. It is a very picturesque place.
The top covered with snow looks spectacular.

Sir George Everest was surveyor – general of India when it was part of the British Empire. His job was to collect information about land, buildings, resources and to measure and evaluate them for the Government. Such information would be passed to official map-makers (cartographers).
