| Lesson plan Unit 5:Art and Music School: 8 Date: 16.01.19 Teacher name: Abdullina Dana Muratbekovna Grade: 3 “A” Number present: absent: Theme of the lesson: Musical instruments Learning objectives(s) that this lesson is contributing to 3.2.3.1 give short, basic description of people and objects, begin to describe past experiences on a limited range of general and some curricular topics; 3.2.5.1pronounce familiar words and short phrases intelligibly when reading aloud; 3.2.8.1 recount very short, basic stories and events on a limited range of general and some curricular topics; 3.3.2.1read and follow with limited support familiar instructions for classroom activities Lesson objectives All learners will be able to: - practice topic-related vocabulary with visual support. - read and listen to the short story; Most learners will be able to: - use most of the active vocabulary in the speech; - do the tasks with minimum support using visuals Some learners will be able to: - use most of the active vocabulary in the speech with no support - complete most of tasks correctly with no supportusing visuals Assessment criteria - follow the criteria in papers - participate actively in discussion;talk about art and music using given vocabulary Value links Teamwork: Leaners will work well together in pairs showing respect and being polite with each other. How do you think what subject of our lesson is today? So, you see the word MUSIC, and the subject of our lesson is “Musical instruments”. Today we will speak about different styles in music, the kinds of music teenagers prefer. The students have prepared some projects and we are going to listen to them. Speaking What style do you like? What is your favorite music? The topic and LOs are presented. PPP Middle 30 minutes Presentation Brainstorming. What words do you associate with the word ‘music’? Reading Pre reading task: Work with new words (cards) Doing exercises 7,8,9 p. 67 Read the dialogue and answer the questions Art. Students must draw their favourite musical instruments and presented it.
