“The World of Professions”. Учитель: Чернецкая Диана Болеславовна Технология урока: обучение во взаимодействии, развитие критического мышления Класс:9 Тип урока: урок совершенствования продуктивных навыков. Формы: фронтальная, парная, групповая Цели урока: 1. Совершенствование практических навыков владения лексикой по теме. 2. Развитие речевой и языковой компетенции обучающихся. 3. Развитие ассоциативной памяти, внимания, умения работать в парах. 4. Содействие социализации учащихся. Расширение представлений о мире профессий. Задачи: 1. Развитие умений связной монологической речи. 2. Совершенствовать навыки чтения с целью основного понимания и понимания необходимой информации. 3. Развивать речевое умение выражать согласие или несогласие, свое мнение. “The World of Professions”. Ход урока. 1. Организационный этап. 2. Актуализация субъектного опыта учащихся. Определение темы урока на основе слов: a lawyer, a doctor, an interpreter, a driver, a сook, a designer, a musician Ответы учащихся на вопросы учителя: Tell me, please, what is the topic of our lesson? What will we speak about? Уч-ся: I think the topic of our lesson is about future jobs. Yes, you are right We shall speak about professions. The theme of the lesson is “The World of Professions”. Today we’ll speak about different jobs 3. Этап применения полученных знаний и способов деятельности. Ha доске даются основные понятия данной темы. Look at the screen There are many words which we can associate with the word “JOB”. profession, job, occupation and work. Teacher: First of all, I’d like to remind you of the difference between the words: Profession – a job that needs a special education and training. Study the combination: by profession/choose sth as a profession. Here are examples: What is your mother by profession? Will you choose law as a profession? Job – the regular paid work that you do for an employer. Study the examples: Did you work a holiday job this summer? Occupation – a job or profession. What is your mother’s occupation? Work – to do the job that you are paid for. Here are the examples: work for the company/work as a secretary. What company does your father work for? Ученики тренируются в употреблении данных словосочетаний выполняя вопросно-ответное упражнение. Teacher: Now answer the questions. 1. What is your mother by profession? 2. What is your father by profession? 3. What company does your father work for? 4. – Who and what can help you to make your choice? (Parents, teachers, friends, information, interests) 5. What profession will you choose? IV. Активизация использования лексики. Игра “Угадай профессию” Teacher: Now it’s time for a guessing-game “What profession is it?” I’ll describe you a profession and you will give me the word. Introduction Exercises Учитель описывает профессии, используя слова на доске. Listen to the definitions of professions, try to guess and name them. Exercise 1. Here are some professions: bricklayer (каменщик), accountant, interpreter, architect, receptionist, cashier, conductor, programmer, fashion designer. 1. someone who can count well and keeps the money records of a business 2. someone who makes walls with bricks 3. someone who designs clothes 4. someone who writes computer programs 5. someone who stands in front of the group of musicians or singers and directs their playing or singing 6. someone who gets cash or pays out money in a shop 7. someone who works at the reception desk of a hotel 8. someone who changes spoken words from one language to another 9. someone whose job is to design buildings Exercise 2. Professions can be: prestigious, not prestigious, up-to-date, out-of-date, well-paid, low-paid, rare and widespread. There are different types of jobs. A: What does your institute do? B: WEB design hydro-electric power stations. IV A: Have you made up your mind what to become in the future? B: To tell the truth no, I haven’t. A: But you pay so much attention to your English! B: Yes, I do. I believe a foreign language will come in handy in my life. 5 Teacher: Let’s read the story of a man. Text. I am Michael Hopkins. I am from Scotland. I’m a farmer. I work out-of-doors. Almost the whole year. It’s nice in summer but not in winter. My working day begins at 6 a.m. I work at weekends. My wife and two sons help me.
