Form- 6 Theme: Revision: degrees of comparison. Aims: -Закрепить знания учащихся о степенях сравнения прилагательных, словах исключениях. - Развивать навыки устной речи, умение образовывать степени сравнения прилагательных. - Воспитывать интерес к изучаемому язык, уважительное отношение друг к другу. Content. I. Organizational moment. - Hello! Sit down, please. II. Warming-up activity. “Make a pyramid” - You will get squares and you should make a pyramid from these squares, then we will make the same squares on the blackboard. I will say what square is bigger, what is smaller and so on. Green- is the biggest. Red –is bigger than yellow and smaller than white. White- is bigger than red and smaller than blue. Blue-is smaller than green and bigger than white. Yellow –is the smallest. III Body of the lesson. A) Revision of grammar. 1. Make a chain. - You will get cards and you should find two of your partners who has the same adjective but in other degree, at the end you should have the chain of three people. Ex: tall-taller-the tallest 2. Choose “-er;the –est or more/ the most” - On the blackboard you can see adjectives and you should divide them into two groups with -er;the –est or more/ the most -er;the –est - more/ the most big interesting hot beautiful dirty expensive clean unhealthy cold modern 3. Answer the questions. (work in groups) - First I will divide you into four groups, you will get card with one form of adjective and you should find your partners. These adjectives are exceptions. Who is shorter than you in your class? 5. Who has longer hair than you in your class? 3. Writing practice. - This task you should do yourself. Open the brackets. 1.
