| • Aims of the lesson: To explain pupils the difference between countable and uncountable nouns. To practice the grammar materials, to enrich pupils knowledge, concerning the theme. To develop pupils’ speaking, reading, listening habits. To develop pupils’ interest in learning English. Type of the lesson: lesson – combination. Visual aids: an interactive board, cards, pictures, a textbook Procedure of the lesson: I.Organization moment a)greeting b) asking about the dates and absentees c) introducing the aims of the lesson. II.Slide1.Find and match III.Checking up the hometask.. IV. Slide 3.Presentation . Today we shall take a new theme countable and uncountable nouns. Countable nouns are nouns which we can count. For example: a book, a cup, an apple Uncountable nouns are nouns which we can’t count and used only in singular. For example: milk, water, money. The next task for you Find countable and uncountable nouns. Ex 1.Put the correct form of the given words into the spaces. Difference between How much? or How many? VI. Physical training exercise . Let’s have a rest. Hands up Stand up Hands down Stands to the sides Hands on lips Bend left Sit down. Bend right. VII.Slide 4.Doing exercises. Let’s do some exercises. Ex 5 VIII.Slide 5.Reading. Now, we shall read the text «Kazakh traditional food » and your task will be to find the sentences with countable and uncountable nouns, there is/there are IX.Work with cards.
