Транспорт в Лондоне (открытый урок).
| Тема: Транспорт в Лондоне. Цель: Научить анализировать и использовать в речи информацию, полученную в ходе аудирования. Задачи: - Научить извлекать информацию из прослушанных текстов и делать краткие сообщения по теме - Развивать внимание, мышление, навыки говорения, интерес к изучению языка - Содействовать воспитанию толерантности, коммуникабельности 1. Today we will speak about transport. There are many kinds of transport and all of them have certain characteristics/ What are they? (size, colour, comfort, make, prize, speed) 2. In London there are different kinds of transport but the bus is the most famous of them all over the world/ You will listen to a text but first look at the words on this sheet of paper. Ex.1 I will read definitions and you’ll match then to the words. Write numbers. 1. the upper floor of the bus 2. to let 3. a bus with two floors 4. a line of people at the bus-stop waiting for a bus 5. the lower floor of the bus 6. a group of people that work on the same bus 7. a long-distance bus 8. a bus with one floor (deck) (checking up) 3. Listen to the text about the London bus 4. You’ve got cards on your desks (Yes, no). Raise them if you agree or disagree a) There are only double-decker buses in London. b) There are two persons in each bus crew c) You needn’t keep your ticket d) A long-distance bus is more expensive e) Nowadays the top deck of a bus is open f) People don’t like when somebody jumps the queue g) Smoking isn’t allowed inside. 5. There are many sights in London. Look. Now I want you to work in pairs and discuss (Use unreal conditional) Ex.2 a) If you went to London - what kind of transport would you take (use)? Why? - what sight would you see? Why? b) Act. You’ve never been to London - speak to a bus conductor - speak to a policeman 6. Now you will listen to one more text. But first say what kind of transport that you see on this board is the fastest. A plane, of course. In London there are three large airports. I think you will agree with me that something unusual, funny and sometimes dangerous can happen to people who travel by plane.. Before listening to one of such stories a) look at the blackboard and see if you know the meaning of these words Read – delay, boarding pass, customs, luggage, suitcase, label, information desk, announcement, exchange, time-table. b) think what are the advantages and disadvantages of flying by plane for example - you can sleep during the flight, eat tasty food ( advantage) maybe you’ll feel unwell – headache, weakness (disadvantage) 7. Listen to the text At the airport 8. Tasks to the text ( in groups of three) EX.3 a) agree or disagree 1. The flight was delayed 2. Alan didn’t have to get through the customs 3. The plane was at the airport according to the time-table 4. Alan was at home two hours late. 5. He went from the airport by taxi. b) choose the right answers to the questions 1.
