Урок по предмету «Английский язык» по теме «Christmas». Цели: Практические: ввести лексические единицы по теме «Christmas» и закрепить их в рамках отдельных ситуаций в игровой ситуативной форме, тренировка студентов в умении вести общение на английском языке в предлагаемых речевых ситуациях. Познакомить учащихся с праздничными традициями страны изучаемого языка. Развивающие: развивать речевые способности, способность логически излагать, развивать умения сравнивать, анализировать, воображать. Воспитательные: прививать у студентов интерес к изучению культуры и традиций страны изучаемого языка, пополнение знаний по страноведению. Задачи: • дать информацию о традициях празднования Рождества в Великобритании и нашей стране • развить навыки аудирования, устной речи, чтения по теме, письма • развить память, мышление, языковую догадку • развитие креативности • Активизация грамматических и лексических навыков по теме. Тип урока: комбинированный Оборудование: компьютер, интерактивная доска, мультимедийные средства, программа Memmory Specialist, презентация, карточки с заданиями, карточки с текстом песни, рождественская елка, рождественские игрушки, рождественские открытки, оформление кабинета. Procedure Warm-up. (слайд 1) Good morning everyone. I am glad to see all of you today. Could you tell me, what season is it now? Do you like winter? Why do you like winter? So, winter has come, Christmas is coming now. Tell me, please, what are we going to speak about? Aims of the lesson (Слайд 2) You are right, more than that we’ll try to find out about traditions and customs of the UK and our country connected with Christmas celebration. And as you see we have the motto: “So many countries, so many customs. If we celebrate the same holidays we are very much alike”. So, we will try to find out in which aspect we are alike. So, today at the lesson we shall learn new words referring to this theme and speak about Christmas traditions. Focus on a new lexical material (Слайд 3) Today at the lesson we shall learn new words. You are going to listen to the text and fill in gaps with the appropriate words. Let’s check your answers. Read, please, only those sentences where you had to fill in the gaps. Who can give a short summary of this text. What conclusion can we make? Discussion. (Слайд 8) One of Christmas traditions is singing carols. We also are going to sing a Christmas song “Last Christmas”. Try to do best in order to get ornaments. Thank you! Your singing was very nice. Now it’s high time to check your home task. Your home task was to make up dialogues on the theme Christmas. Each group has its representatives. Thank you for your work! (Слайд 9-10) English families gather to have Christmas dinner. They eat traditional Christmas food. What English Christmas food do you know?
