What kind of wild animals do you know? What kind of domestic animals do you know? What kind of bird do you know? What kind of reptiles do you know? How do you think which is the fastest land animal? Which are the fastest animals in the sea? Which are the fastest animals in the air? And which the fastest animals of all? The new lesson animals Vocabulary work by watching documentary film from the interactive board Work with a text Listening Reading in a chain Work in group Pupils will divide into 3 groups by types of animals 1) Domestic animals 2) Wild animals 3) Sea world animals Task 1 a) making puzzles using new voc - y b) solving the puzzles Presentation of the new grammar. Degrees of adj - s Picture: a rabbit, a horse, an elephant Explanation of the degrees of adj - s using the pictures and scheme Practice Task2. Ex4 p87 Complete with the superlative Form of the adjectives. Task3. Games play best/worst on the world. Ex 8 p87 Task 4. Speaking Ex10 p87 What kind of pets do students have? Which is the most popular pet? Which is the most popular pet’s name? Do you have pet What is it called? Task5 Listening Ex9 p87 Consolidation 1) Answer the thin and thick questions. What kind of unusual animals to you know/ What is the fastest land animal? Why is the mosquito the most dangerous animal in the animal? How can people protect themselves from malaria or a mosquito? Evaluation of the pupils’ knowledge and activity Giving home tasks Writing an essay about animals and use degree, drawing pictures of animals of adjectives.
