Date: Form: 6 “Ж” Lesson: 1 Theme: The Present Perfect Tense. Aim of the lesson: to consolidate grammar knowledge of Present Perfect Tense. Objectives of the lesson: -To consolidate the form and function of Present Perfect Tense; -To distinguish the difference between Present Perfect and Simple Past Tense; -To use appropriate adverbs when forming questions and statements. Results: -Pupils can use Present Perfect Tense in speech; -Pupils will develop skills in group; -Pupils can answer questions on Present Perfect Tense. Visual aids: grammar cards, Way Ahead 5, interactive board, posters, pictures Procedure of the lesson: The stages The teacher`s activity The pupil`s activity methods 1.Organization moment T: Good afternoon children! I am glad to see you. Sit down, please. Let`s begin our lesson with tongue twister: Luke Luck likes lakes. Luke's duck likes lakes. Luke Luck licks lakes. Luck's duck licks lakes. Pupils read tongue twister with teacher and individually Dialogical teaching 2.Introducing the new theme T: Today the subject of our lesson is Present Perfect Tense Pupils perceive teacher`s information and give their own examples in pairs,write the new theme in copybooks Oral frontal Work in pairs 4. Activation of grammatical material in practical exercises T: Now we will check your reading and translation. After that we will make sentences with underlining words. This is ex.1 p.147. We will do this exercise on the blackboard Pupils do exercises in copybooks and on the blackboard Individual work 5.The use of Present Perfect Tense in everyday situations T.: Answer my questions: Have you met your friend today? Have you already had lunch? Have you already got a “good” mark? Have you ever been to the Zoo? Make up a story using Present .Perfect Tense Pupils answer to questions Pupils make up a story and discussed it in group Work in pairs and in group Work in group 6.Analyse Reflection T.: What have you done today?
