Grade: 5 Theme: “All about me!” Goals: • To enrich vocabulary To develop reading , listening, speaking skills The learners will be able to: practise Present simple learn the words make questions talk about everyday routines Type of the lesson: lesson of using knowledge and skills Materials: pictures, teacher prepared worksheets, СD, posters, colourful stickers Procedure of the lesson: I. Organization moment. Greeting II. Presentation of the theme. Tasks of the lesson. Lead-in to topic of “All about me!” -match the words with the pictures -listen and check Wash, get dressed, get undressed, get home, get ready for school, get up, wake up, go to bed, go to sleep, have a drink, have a shower. III. Game «What is missing? » Children! Sleep! Wake up! What is missing? Go, start, leave, finish, eat, take, move, study, get up, begin, do, Учащиеся выполняют команду учителя: Спать! (учащиеся закрывают глаза) Просыпайтесь! (учащиеся открывают глаза и определяют, какое слово убрали с доски) IV. Work in groups. Students read the text about Jack’s day and present their posters. I often walk to the bus stop with Sadie. This is my school bus puss. I get home at about ten past four. In the evening I do my homework and I watch TV. I sometimes play computer games and I write emails. I often write emails to people in my Wildlife Watch Group, and I look at the World Wildlife websites. This is my timetable for Monday 8.55-registration 9.10-Maths 10.10-PE 11.10-Break 11.30-Biology 12.30-Lunch 1.20- registration 1.30-History 2.30-English Our lessons finish at 3.30. V.Writing. Fill in the gaps with the words: wash, help, get up, go, play, watch, what time, have 1) ____ you _______ at 7 o`clock? 2) ____you ________your face? 3) ____you _________ football in summer? 4) ____ ____you _______ to school? 5) ____ you _______TV every day? 6) ____you______ your mother? 7) What ___ you ____ for breakfast? VI. Now tell us about your daily routine -ask and answer the questions (Учащиеся выходят к доске с выполненным дома постером, и рассказывают о своем дне. Остальные слушают и задают вопросы) VII. Feedback and overall results. Formative assessment Учащиеся заполняют стикеры - определяют уровень сформированности знаний; могут ли составлять утвердительные, отрицательные, вопросительные предложения в настоящем времени, усвоили активную лексику. После заполнения стикеров учащиеся цепляют их на постеры под одним из предложений- I’m very confused, I need a little help, I’ve got it. VIII. Homework. | |
