To encourage students to give reasons and participate in the discussions. To develop students’ grammar skills and habits of oral speech. 3. To enable students to exchange ideas, express personal opinions and to solve the problems. Type of the lesson: to form knowledge and skills. Methods: audio - visual method, practical and interactive method; Equipment: Microsoft Power point presentation, the cards, active board, pictures, papers, tables Procedure of the lesson I. Organization moment -Good afternoon, class. -Sit down. -Who is on duty today? -What date is it today? -What day is it today? -Who is absent today? -What season is it now? -What month is it now? -What is the weather like today? -How many seasons are there in a year? -What are they? Are the days long or short in winter? -What is your favorite season? -Why? -What did you do yesterday? -Have you ever been in London? -What are you going to do after school? II Home task Answer the questions 1. What Is an Adjective? 2. What Is a Comparative Adjective? 3. What Is a Superlative Adjective? 4. Types of adjectives ? III How well do you know English grammar?
