Structures: How many? How much? Aims: a) learning structures How many? How much? related to countable and uncountable nouns; b) introduction dates; c) checking and consolidating speaking, listening reading and writing skills. Aids: 1) schemes with How many? How much?; 2) a table with numerals (cardinal and ordinal); 3) objects; 4) pictures with objects. Procedure: I. Warming up activities: (6 minutes) a) count from one up to ten; b) count from ten up to one hundred (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70,…) ; c) Name the ordinal numerals from cardinal ones. one - the first six – the sixth two - the second seven – the seventh three – the third eight – the eighth four – the fourth nine – the ninth five – the fifth ten – the tenth d) Name the following numerals: 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77, 88, 99, 100; 21, 31, 41, 51… and so on. II. Consolidation of lexical material on topic “Food” using the pictures with object and the structure there be, demonstrative pronouns: (5 minutes) a) What is this/that? This is a …… That is a ……. What are these/those? These are….. Those are ….. The teacher shows all pictures with object on topic “Food”. b) There is one apple in the fruit – vase. (orange, pear, nut, tomato, cucumber) There are five apples on the plate. (nuts, oranges, bananas, pears, strawberries) III. Introduction the structure How many? How much? With countable and uncountable nouns. В американском английском (American English) при записи даты цифрами сначала указывают: месяц, потом число и год.
