Урок английского языка в 5 классе по теме «Colours» Панчихина Роксана Сергеевна, учитель английского языка ГУ «СОШ № 41», Казахстан, г. Семей. The theme: “Colours”. Aim: Teaching new words on the theme “Colours”. Objectives: 1. To teach new vocabulary. 2. To give practice in speaking, reading, listening and writing. 3. To develop tenacious memory, analytical thinking, interest to learning English language. Materials: interactive board/ blackboard, presentation on the interactive board, English Program WAYAHEAD Level 1 (D), textbooks, the poster of the house with red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet windows, which can be opened. There is a member of the family in each window (mother, father, sister, brother, grandmother, grandfather). Language structure: “What colour are your eyes?” Vocabulary: white, blue, green, orange, black, yellow, brown, pink, grey, red. Introduction: - Good morning children! How are you? Today we shall learn some new words on the theme “Colours” and also we shall develop our speaking, reading, listening and writing skills. Warm up 1. Teddy bear, Teddy bear, Turn around. Teddy bear, Teddy bear, Touch the ground. Teddy bear, Teddy bear, Switch off the light. Teddy bear, Teddy bear, Say good night. Presentation of the new vocabulary through the dialogue Dialogue -What colour is your cat? - It’s black and white. Present the names of the colours showing pictures on the interactive board. Drill the words. Use the word with another one. (red sweater, green cap ect.) Practice 1) Match the words and the pictures (colours and their names) 2) Programm WAYAHEAD Level I. 2a) Paint the objects. 3) Find in the classroom any objects with the colour you have on your sheet of paper (white, blue, green, orange, black, yellow, brown, pink, grey, red ) 4) Programm WAYAHEAD Level I. 7a) Paint the obj. (I have a car. It’s red) Performance p.63, ex.4 Write down the answer - What colour is Colin’s T-shirt? - It’s _________ . Programm WAYAHEAD Level I. 13b) Learners read the words and colour the objects (clothes). Extra activity Show a students the poster of the house. Open, please, the red (orange, yellow, green, blue or violet) windows. Name the member of the family that is in your window (mother, father, sister, brother, grandmother, grandfather). Feetback What did we learn today? What colours do you remember? What colour is your favourite? How many colours are there in the rainbow? Giving marks for the lesson Giving home task p.62 – learn the words (next lesson we’ll write a colour dictation), p.64, ex.9 – answer the questions. | |
