Урок английского языка по теме "Natural world in danger" для учащихся 7 класса
| The theme of the lesson: Natural world in danger. Topic: Visiting natural world. Aims: 1. To help pupils to understand the text about nature. 2. To develop students’ vocabulary on the topic of natural world. 3. To develop students’ communication and discussion skills through strategies of RWCT. Introduction: consolidation students’ knowledge about the topic. Visual aids: cards, screen, computer,pictures. Procedure of the lesson. I. Preliminaries. Teacher: Good morning, boys and girls and our respected guests. I would like you to listen to the music. (music from TV program “В мире животных”) Evocation. Do you recognize the music? Of course, you do. You know that this music from well-known TV program “In animals’ world”. Can you guess what you will talk about? You are right. Today we’ll talk about natural world. When you hear the phrase ‘natural world’ what words come to your mind? Make association with “natural world’. (students make diagram) II Realization. 1 So, I see you have imagination about natural world. We live in the world that is full of the beauty of nature. But we’ll speak not only about the beauty of nature. I would like you to look at the following pictures and then continue the phrase on the board. ( phrase “natural world in…’) You are right. Natural world in danger. 2 In danger.. What does it mean? Let’s listen to your classmates how they understand this phrase. (presentations of students) You have listened some information about natural world. Now let’s revise vocabulary. Put necessary words in the sentences. 3 These words from the text that we are going to read later. (slide) Guess what is the text about. Work in pairs. Complete the sentence “I think the text is about…”with your own ideas. Write up the different ideas / predictions. 4.Now let’s divide our group in two groups. Work in groups. Try to gather all parts of the text as whole one. 5 Let’s check it up. Look at the screen and check up. Read the text ”Earth in danger”. Was your predictions correct? 6 Read and match 1-6 a-e to make sentences about the text. 7 Some of famous people says about nature and environment. (slides) Read them and try to interpret. 8 Many poets and artists show us the beauty of our world. Let’s remember them. (slides) 9 We have spoken about ecological problems. Name them.(slide). Why are they so dangerous? What are their reasons? How can we keep our nature clean and healthy? III Reflection. 1 So we have come to conclusion that we must protect our world together. At home you have to do a work.. The topic is “What can I do to help our beautiful nature? (you may do it in any way) 2 Now I would like you to listen a song and relax.
