The aims of the lesson: 1. To introduce pupils with animal’s world, ecological problems. 2. To develop communicative skills and abilities through different communicative activities. 3. Brining-up the pupils’ desire to protect the animals. Type of the lesson: discussion. Intersubject connection: Music, Geography. Visual aids: an interactive board, the basic textbook. The procedure of the lesson: I. Organization moment: a) Short conversation with the pupil on duty. b) Talking about the weather(season, day and date) II. Checking up the home task. Put questions to each other. (orally) Do you plant trees? How often do you plant trees? What plants do you every year? Are you green? Do you like green world? III. Checking up the pupils’ knowledge. What are animals? Do you like animals? What are pets? Have you got a pet? What animals do you know? IV. Explanation of the new material. 1) What animals are in the picture? Match the pictures with the words. 2) Vocabulary and pronunciation. 3) Pre-reading task. What do you know about animals? 4) Work with text. Reading. 5) Post-reading task. What was the text about? What can you say about elephants? What can you say about whales? Why do people hunt animals? 6) Work with active board Look at the board. Answer the following questions. Where can we see all animals? What animals can we see in the zoo? Where do animals live? 7) Talking. Let’s talk about oriental calendar. Each people ask and say about the year which he or she was born. Ex: I was born in year of caw. And you? V. Consolidation. Let’s talk about animals cartoon. Do you know cartoons about animals? What are they? What cartoons do you like best of all? Why? Please, tell about it. The story tell about… The story happened… In the end of the cartoon… VI. Home task: creative work. VII. Commenting marks. VIII. Ending. The lesson is over. Good bye! | |
