| “BRAIN RING” The theme: “Food and Drink” Language aims: to introduce the students the topic “Food and Drink”, revision grammar and lexical themes. Objectives: Educational: to introduce the students the topic “Food and Drink”, new lexical themes: food and drink, things people want to make something, the ingredients in the recipe, to revise countable and uncountable nouns, is there…? are there …? Have we got …?, some/ any. Communicational: to practice grammatical skills and encourage students to participate in communication on the topic. Developing: to develop the using of lexical, grammatical materials in speech in 3 languages: Russian English, Kazakh, in work in pairs, in role play, grammar puzzle, in speaking, writing (wordchain), enrich the vocabulary (Russian English, Kazakh) languages of the students in the theme “Food and Drink”. Equipment: a video cassette, wordchain, cards, slides. The plan of the lesson I. Organization moment (The aim of the lesson) II. Warm-up activity. III. “Unknown words” IV. Game for the guests. V. Game “I like to eat” VI. Musical minutes. VII. Wordchain. VIII. Video about “Food” (Window on Food). 1) Before watching: introduction to the new words. 2) After watching: discussion (question). IX. Let’s fun. The dance X. The song “May there always be sunshine!” The structure of the lesson I. Organization moment. Good morning! What is the Russian for “Food”? Who wants to be a poet at the beginning of our lesson? II. Warm-up “Rhyme” (Каждый учащийся выбирает себе карточку со словом. На доске написаны предложения, участвующий должен прочитать все и подобрать нужное предложение, чтобы получился рифмованный стишок) 1. Hi, my name is Sam, I like eating … (jam) 2. My name is Liz, I like to eat … (cheese) 3. My big brother Jake is fond of … (cake) 4. This girl is Lola. She likes drinking … (Cola) 5. And this boy is Fred. He likes eating … (bread) 6. But do you want to know the food that is dream? It’s chocolate cake, with lots of good … (cream) III. “Unknown words” Collect the right words, translate into Russian, Kazakh. Game “I like to eat” By student Ребята, кто-нибудь из вас пробовал кушать велосипед? Children: No! Я тоже никогда не пробовал. I like to eat … Сейчас я вам расскажу. По-английски масло –butter, Как же будет бутерброд? Ломтик хлеба - bread. И что же? Bread and butter yже ждет. Ты отведай! Ах, как вкусно! Чай – tea тоже на столе, Sugar - сахар и лимончик – Lemon. Приступай к еде! Догадались? I like to eat bread and butter. Let’s play a game! What do you like? Ну, что же ты любишь? Сладкую carrot, иначе морковь, Ice-cream - мороженку, Sausage - Колбаску. What do you like? Я спрошу тебя вновь. Итак, я буду спрашивать, а вы отвечайте. Do you like to eat cheese? Подходит к учащимся, ждет ответа Yes, I like to eat cheese. Do you like to eat a bus? No, I don’t like to eat a bus. Do you like to eat apples? Task “Wordchain” Find some names of food, drinks and dishes in the wordchain and write them below.
