| THe plan of the lesson Form: VII The theme of the lesson:Performers The aim: To teach talking about performers The objectives: 1. Educational. To focus on key words and to widen student's vocabularies, to improve students' communicative competenceies. 2. Developing. To develop the student's reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. 3. Bringing-up. To teach students to love culture. Type of the lesson: Learning a new material The form of the lesson: Traditional The aids: Cd player, CDs flashcards, Student's book workbook The procedure of the lesson 1. Organization moments. a) greating b) theme, aims and objectives c) the previous lesson we talk about holidays Today we are going to talk about performers. Warming-up: ex 1 p 67 ( Everybody, open your student's book p 67 and look at key words and listen and repeat the new words) b) Can you say these words kazakh: Let's guess their meanings. Picture Dictionary ( at the blackboard) look and check the meanings ofthe key words. c) write these words on your vocabulary. d) Look, read and remember ( memory game) e) guess the words using the definitions: b) Can you make definitions for these words? Listening. Ex 2 p 67. Listen and identify four performers. What is he (she)? What performers is he(she)? Speaking. Let's speak or talk using to be good at in present simple. Work in pairs. Work in groups. Let's divide into two groups of 4-5 students. Answer the questionnaires in your group and tell the class their results ( tell about your class) we + Ving, - don't like Ving. Look at example, please. Work book p 65 ex 1. Read the clues and find the people in the wordsquare. 1. magician 2. humanstatue 3. ice skater 4. gymnast 5. Juggler 6. clown 7. musician 8. storyteller 9. actor. 10. actress Juggling sentences. make sentences with these words. acrobats are clowns don't boring like great can guggle jump circuses I. Guess the performers: Read the descriptions and guess the performer. (clown, ballet dancer, humanstatue) 1. A person, who does amazing exercises or does gymnastics.( a gymnast) 2. A person, who performs or does gymnastics in a circus. (acrobat) 3. A person, who can do magic tricks. ( magician) 4. A performer, who tells jokes or acts. (comedian) 5. A person, Who plays music or who can play or some musical instruments. (musician) 6. A person, who can skate and dance on the ice. (ice skater) 7. A performer, who can throw or catch of something.
