Урок в 8 классе по программе: «Духовное воспитание учащихся через изучение литературы Англии и США» Цель:. расширение знаний учащихся о творческой деятельности поэтов, развитие творческой активности и заинтересованности при презентации изученного материала , привитие любви к поэзии и литературе. I. Today we would like to show you the extract of the lessons on the theme “Love for motherland in the verses of R. Burns, G. Byron.” II. What association have you got with the word “motherland”? (portrait is on the blackboard) The great poet of the Scotch people, Robert Burns, was born on the 25 th of January, 1759 in a small clay-build cottage at Alloway . Song- writer, satirist, narrator, poet, celebrator of friendship, of love and of hate. Burns was also a brilliant talker and an intelligent observer and, sometimes , a dangerous personality. He loved his native land and his people. Scotland occupies a prominent place in Burn’s creative works. Byron (a portrait is on the blackboard) Byron was a very bright person. Being extremely popular among common people he was hated by his own class of aristocrats. Finally he had to leave England. But his love to his motherland was seen in his poems. Byron remains one of the most popular poets both at home and abroad. Lermontov loved Byron’s poems and made wonderful translations of one of them. Pushkin paid tribute to him in the poem “To the Sea”. Byron’s “Motherland” inspired Tchaikovsky to compose a symphony. 1) A poem “Twilight”. VI.
