Enrich their vocabulary o the base of a new material. 3. To bring up the feeling of responsibility for their health, to impart interest to a trade of the doctor. The type of the lesson: presentation lesson. The methods: interactive method, critical thinking, group and pair work, question answer. The resources: interactive board, textbook, cards. The procedure of the lesson: 1. Organization moment. Greeting. 2. Checking up the home task. Children`s presentation “Home remedies” 3. Brainstorming Say what problems have these people got? Give them your advice. (Work with pictures) Ann has a headache. You should take some aspirin. 4. Presentation of new words. D).What did doctor do? e). what did doctor prescribe Tom? 7. Writing in pairs. Ex.5 p.105 Symptoms, diagnosis, treatment. 8. Dialogue A role- play “At the doctor`s “ Conversation between doctor and patient. Use the sentences: What’s the matter? I have….. Have you taken anything for it? How do you feel? Etc. 9. Reflection. How often do you go to the doctor? What do you think is this profession interesting? Do you like this profession? Who wants to be a doctor? 10. Conclusion.
