The Daily Plan for the 2nd grade. Учитель НУО ЭЛ г.Астаны Чокан Татьяна Ивановна Theme: Animals and Habitats, Present Simple. Aims: 1. Educational- повторить с учащимися названия животных, места обитания, страны мира, познакомить учащихся с новой лексикой. 2. Developing- развивать мышление, память, речевые навыки. 3. Up-bringing- воспитывать интерес к изучению английского языка, умения работать в парах. Aids: CD, word cards, speech bubbles, pictures with animals, flashcards, ppt, interactive game for revision. I. Warm up. a)greeting: poem “Good morning” b) aims of the lesson: today we will do many tasks and in the end of the lesson you will have to say if you like or don’t like our lesson. II. Checking homework. a) Name the characters and their native countries. Where does … come from? What does …speaks? III. Pupils have to name the theme of the lesson themselves. We have an e-mail. Let’s read it . IV. Listening- reading. a)word game. Students must name as many animals as they can. (using flashcards and pictures and ppt) b)Repeating the animals “snake, penguin, crocodile”, using word cards. c)Introduce new words “whale, eagle, shark ”, using flashcards and word cards. d)Using ppt.introduce habitats. Say: Look! Whales! They live in the sea. Look! Sea. e)Opening PB 58 ex.1. Listening-CD 45. f)Children read ,teacher is checking understanding of words “cold, hot, beautiful”. g)Guessing game “What are they?” Children can do it themselves. V. Reading –writing. a) PB 58 ex.2 Naming the animals b) Children write the correct letter, means place. Checking individually. VI. Speaking. a)PB 58, ex.3 Teacher read the example b) pupils work in pairs. Check each of them. Let’s do the Gate of Knowledge. (6 pupils) VII. Physical drill. a) Eyes training b) Let’s play zoo. VIII. Workbook. a)WB 64 ex-s 1-2. Reading, writing, answering. VII.Revision. a)interactive game b) test on ppt. с) reflexion: hold up the picture of shark if you didn’t like our lesson, hold up the dog if you liked our lesson. IX. New Hometask. Bring the animal (toy or picture) and prepare the characterization of it. X. Sum. Marks. | |
